The Firetronics Micro 2001 panel is a 16 Zone fire alarm controller designed to comply with the Australian Standards. It provides sixteen fully supervised zone inputs.

Each zone is terminated in a 1K5 resistor with a series diode to provide open circuit and short circuit fault detection. In addition the line voltage is required to provide a constant 13.5 VDC to the detectors.

The Micro 2001 panel has an Evacuation alert facility , whereby pressing the Evac button will activate the Evac alarm. This will cause all the 16 zones to alarm and also activate the sounder on all the detectors even if the zones are isolated.
